Bawumia cannot be absolved from Nana Addo's economic mess - Jinapor

 

The Member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu constituency in the Savannah region, John Abdulai Jinapor has asked Ghanaians to reject attempts being made by promoters of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to absolve him from the economic difficulty the country is facing. 

According to the fomer Minister for Power, everything that has happened to the economy including the imposition of killer taxes is the doing of Vice President Bawumia. 

He highlighted soaring taxes, high inflation, high cost of living, financial haircuts among others implimented and supervised by Dr. Bawumia as head of the economic management team which has thrown many Ghanaians into abject poverty and attempt to absolve him will be futile. 

Speaking on Metro TV's Good morning Ghana on Tuesday February 6, 2024, Mr. Jinapor urged Ghanaians to hold Dr. Bawumia and the NPP accountable in the upcoming December polls.

Mr. Jinapor also said the government of John Dramani Mahama was ten times better than what Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is delivering to Ghanaians.

'Mahama's administration is ten times better than this administration. You cannot whitewash Bawumia and present him to Ghanaians, nobody can absolve him from the economic mess of this government. He brought all these taxes, voting him will be a curse."
