GLYA National Executives Console Late Limuna Family, Urge Government to Investigate Helicopter Crash

 



The National Executives of the Gonjaland Youth Association (GLYA), led by the National President, Mr. Alhassan Baba Davison, on Friday, 8th August 2025, paid a visit to the bereaved family of the late Alhaji Muniru Limuna to express their heartfelt condolences following the tragic helicopter crash that claimed his life and that of others.


During the visit, Mr. Alhassan Baba Darison described the late Alhaji Limuna as a distinguished son of Gonjaland and Ghana, whose contributions to national development and community empowerment will be fondly remembered. He noted that his sudden demise is not only a great loss to his family but also to the entire Gonjaland and the nation at large.



The National Executives used the occasion to call on the Government of Ghana to initiate a thorough and transparent investigation into the cause of the helicopter crash. They stressed that the public deserves clear answers, and lessons must be learned to prevent such tragedies in the future.


On behalf of the Association, Mr. Davison assured the family of their continuous support during this difficult period, adding that GLYA stands united with them in mourning and the quest for truth and justice.


Earlier, the GLYA National executives visited the Jakpa palace to commiserate with the Damongowura and Yagbonwura.
