Global business consultancy D Evans Consulting Inc. has reaffirmed its commitment to community-driven development following a working visit to Ghana’s Savannah Region, emphasizing that sustainable progress must be shaped by the people who live and work in the communities concerned.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, 16th December,2025, the CEO of D. Evans Consulting, Madam Darlene Evans, said that the Atlanta-based firm had done preliminary research remotely, and the visit provided critical on-the-ground insights into the region’s social, economic, and cultural landscape. She stressed that development efforts are most effective when local knowledge, leadership, and aspirations guide decision-making.
During the visit, D Evans Consulting Inc. engaged a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including traditional authorities, farmers, women-led enterprises, youth groups, and institutional representatives.
Discussions focused on agriculture, value addition, skills development, employment creation, and enterprise growth, with particular attention to empowering women and young people.
The delegation also toured health facilities and community enterprises, as well as key infrastructure projects such as the Daboya bridge, which the firm described as a gateway to improved connectivity, trade, and investment across the region.
As part of its assessment, the firm visited cultural and tourism landmarks including Mole National Park, Mole Park Lodge, and the historic Larabanga Mosque, highlighting the Savannah Region’s rich heritage and untapped tourism potential.
