National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced Tuesday, September 15, 2026, as the official opening date for nominations for its 2026 Constituency Executive Elections, marking a major step in the party’s internal electoral process.
The party says all aspiring candidates, proposers, seconders and endorsers must be members in good standing and have fully settled their membership dues for the past four years.
Nomination and filing payments are to be made exclusively through the party’s online portal using mobile money.
The National Secretariat has also officially opened campaigning for the 2026 internal elections at the Constituency, Regional and National levels, subject to the party’s rules and regulations.
However, the campaign window excludes persons pursuing or intending to pursue parliamentary ambitions, including sitting Members of Parliament and individuals considering or expressing an intention to contest parliamentary elections.
The Party has urged all members, aspirants and party structures to conduct the electoral process with discipline, decorum and respect for the party’s democratic values.
Attached is the full official notice for details on nomination requirements, payment procedures and campaign guidelines.
