Head coach of the Black Princesses, Yusif Basigi was honored during the 48th Gonjaland Youth Association Annual National Congress in Damongo on Saturday April 27, 2024.
Basigi who hails from Daboya in the North Gonja District of the Savannah Region was honoured with a citation for his outstanding performance and contribution to Ghana football
Coach Yusif has won himself many individual awards in Ghana Football including, SWAG Coach of the Year, 2015, Ghana Women Premier League Coach of the Year, 2021 and Ghana Women's FA Cup Coach of the Year, 2021
Speaking to Kasha FM Sports, Coach Basigi expressed his excitement and appreciation to the association.
He adviced the youth of the area especially girls, to take football seriousl
Yussif Basigi is currently the Head Coach for Hasaacas Ladies F.C. and the Ghana Women's National Under-20 football.
