The Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Football Association recently made a generous donation to the District referees, providing them with new kits to enhance their performance on the field. The donation was made by the District FA Chairman, Mr. Alhassan Abdulraman Nyariba and his Vice, Mr. Charles Kipo
The referees play a crucial role in ensuring fair play and upholding the integrity of the game. However, they are often under resourced. The District FA in the area has decided to support them with new kits to help them perform their duties effectively.
During the presentation ceremony, Mr. Alhassan Abdulraman emphasized the importance of supporting the referees and expressed his gratitude for their dedication to the game. He commended them for their hard work and commitment despite the challenges they face.
They were encouraged to continue to uphold the values of fair play and sportsmanship.
The referees were thrilled to receive the kits, which included jerseys, pants and socks, They expressed their gratitude to the District FA for the generousity and promised to continue to uplift the name of the District when it comes to officiating
The gesture is a testament to the commitment of the District FA to promote the growth of football in the district and support those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of the game.
The District is currently playing the 2023/24 Juvenile/Colts League.
