Annapansah B. Abraham, the assembly member for the Greater Canteen Electoral Area in the Savannah Region, has donated a range of teaching and learning materials to schools in the Kpiri and Agric Extension communities within the electoral area.
The donation includes sets of school uniforms, boxes of pencils, color crayons, wall clocks, and over 200 exercise books, among other items.
The donation demonstrates his dedication to supporting education and enhancing the efforts of dedicated teachers in the electoral area.
Abraham, who has a track record of supporting schools in his electoral area, emphasized the importance of encouraging students to value their education.
He also addressed concerns about declining enrollment rates, pledging to work with School Management Committees (SMCs), Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs), and community leaders to reinforce the fundamental right to education and boost school attendance.
Looking ahead, he plans to extend this support to all primary schools within the electoral area, with a distribution of over 800 additional exercise books in the coming weeks.
He urged students to use the materials responsibly to support their academic progress.
He expressed his gratitude to World Vision Ghana for their support and appealed for continued assistance with future educational initiatives.
