On August 26, Alhaji Imoro Seidu, Savannah Regional Chairman of the NDC, and the Bole-Bamboi Constituency Chairman donated five motorbikes to the Sonyo Traditional Council in the Bole District on behalf of former President John Dramani Mahama and Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Alhaji Yusuf Sulemana also known as Ori.
The donation includes two motorbikes for the Sonyowura’s palace, and one each for the Kasangewura, Kidemawura, and Sonyo Kupo.
The initiative is intended to aid these traditional leaders in performing their duties more effectively.
The donation was facilitated by former Agriculture Minister Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Lemuna, who was on a regional tour with the NDC council of elders.
The Sonyo chiefs and elders conveyed their appreciation to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and Hon. Yusif for their support.
