Abdul Samed Mukadas, a standout midfielder from Mpaha in the Central Gonja district of the Savannah Region, has signed a two-year professional contract with Slovenian club FC Koper, a leading solvenian football club.

Born in 2005, Mukadas makes the move to Slovenia from EurAfrica FC, a Division Two team in Ghana, where he has showcased his talents and earned recognition. FC Koper, his new club, competes in the Slovenian First League, the top flight of Slovenian football.

Founded in 1920, FC Koper has a rich history, having won the Slovenian Championship in the 2009-10 season and secured the Slovenian Cup four times, most recently in the 2021-22 season.

EurAfrica FC, Mukadas former team, is known for nurturing young football talents and preparing them for the global stage. Mukadas move marks another success story for the Ghanaian club.

Upon his arrival, FC Koper welcomed him with the statement in Slovenian.

"Abdul Samed Mukadas je novinec v rumeno-modrem. Vezni igralec, letnik 2005, je podpisal dveletno pogodbo. V Koper je prišel iz domače Gane, kjer je bil član moštva EurAfrica FC."

This translates to, "Abdul Samed Mukadas has joined the yellow and blue team. The 2005-born midfielder has signed a two-year contract and comes to Koper from Ghana, where he played for EurAfrica FC."

Mukadas is set to begin an exciting new chapter in his football career with FC Koper.
