Andrew Dari Chiwitey has sent a strong worded message to Samuel Abdulai Jinapor of the NPP that the votes of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency are not for sale.

Mr. Chiwitey who is the Member of Parliament for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency and seeking reelection on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, NDC said no amount of money by Mr. Jinapor will influence voters in his constituency.

Mr. Chiwitey was reacting to reports that Mr. Jinapor visited the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency and shared various sums of money to groups and individuals in a bid to secure their votes for the NPP parliamentary candidate.

Mr. Chiwitey whilst speaking to the media in Sawla after a 24hr economy health walk organised by the NDC told the Kasha FM reporter at the event to tell Jinapor that constituents of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba are not influenced by money.

"You are from Damongo, go and tell Jinapor that money cannot buy the people of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba. If he did that in Damongo and succeeded, he won't succeed in STK."

He asked Jinapor to use the money he is sharing in STK to give the people of Damongo water to drink.

"I'm in opposition and have done more than 55 boreholes and water systems, Jinapor should use the galamsey money he is sharing to provide Damongo water. I have more projects even in opposition than him as a cabinet minister, that is what my people want not money."

"Tell him he won't get any votes with the money he shared in Tuna, Jelinkong, and the dressmakers or hairdressers."
