The National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Youth Organizer, George Opare Addo Esq., has warned residents of Damongo and nursing school students against falling for what he described as the "numerous lies" of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor.

Speaking at an NDC executives' handover event on October 21, 2024, Opare Addo emphasized that both leaders do not have the interests of Ghanaians at heart.

Addressing students of the Nursing Training College, Opare Addo also known as Pablo urged them to support Hon. Adam Mutawakilu, the NDC parliamentary candidate for the Damongo Constituency, instead of Abu Jinapor, whom he criticized as out of touch. "Damongo should send a sensible leader like Hon. Adam Mutawakilu, a man of integrity who has delivered real development," Opare Addo stated.

He praised Mutawakilu for his contributions to infrastructure and urged the community to re-elect him to bring more improvements.

The event, held at the Nursing Training College hall, was attended by key NDC figures, including Hajia Shamima and Mutawakilu himself.

Opare Addo reiterated the importance of voting for both Mutawakilu and former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming December 7 elections, calling it a turning point for Ghana’s future.

"December 7th is about your future, and it’s about holding the New Patriotic Party accountable for the harm they have done to this nation," Opare Addo said.

He criticized the administration of President Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia, claiming it had severely damaged various aspects of Ghanaian life, and called for a united effort to restore the country to prosperity.

He expressed confidence that the students of the Nursing Training College would play a critical role in bringing about this transformation, urging them to be part of the movement for change.
