Sadampewura Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna, a former Minister of Agriculture under the Mahama administration, has called on voters in the Damongo constituency to rally behind the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming December elections.

He emphasized the need to avoid a "skirt and blouse" voting pattern, urging constituents to back both John Dramani Mahama for president and Hon. Mutawakilu Adam, popularly known as "Garlus," for the parliamentary seat.

Speaking on Kasha FM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Alhaji Muniru expressed confidence in an NDC victory, declaring that John Dramani Mahama was destined to return as Ghana’s next president.

"This is JM's time, he has won already. Anyone who disagrees can come and bet with me, even if you are called Masagban."

The former scholarship coordinator further asserted that intelligence reports indicated an overwhelming advantage for the NDC in Damongo. "Ninety-five percent of the intelligence we have shows that Garlus has won already. Even the NPP is aware of their pending defeat. Damongo is green for the NDC," he said.

Alhaji Muniru also appealed to the Muslim community to vote massively for the NDC, questioning the authenticity of the NPP presidential candidate’s Islamic faith due to his visits to churches and traditional oracles.

He appealed to all NDC supporters to stay committed, confidently asserting that victory for both Mahama and Garlus is just around the corner.
