The parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress, Adam Muntawakilu, has assured the NDC that he, together with John Dramani Mahama, are winning the election in the Damongo constituency and urged for same in Salaga South.
Mr. Muntawakilu who was speaking at the campaign launch of the party in the Salaga South constituency urged members of the party to unite for a resounding victory before discussing appointments.
"We are working hard in Damongo and we are wining in Damongo, JM is wining and Garlus is winning so let's win in Salaga South too."
"Let's unite and win this election for John Mahama, let's send his candidates to him in parliament and after we have done that, we can talk about appointments, first things first" he said.
He called on the people of Salaga South and the Savannah region to vote for development.
According to him, development can only come to the region if John Mahama wins with his parliamentary candidates.
