A heavy downpour that swept through Bunjai in the North East Gonja District of the Savannah Region on Friday, May 23, 2025, has displaced two families and caused extensive destruction to their homes and properties.

The storm, which struck in the evening, tore off roofs and damaged buildings, leaving Mr. Amadu Osman and Mr. Fuseini Musah without shelter.

The two households are now urgently appealing for help to rebuild their lives.

They are calling on the public, civil society organizations, benevolent individuals, and NGOs to offer any form of assistance be it financial or material to support their recovery.

Anyone willing to help can reach Mr. Amadu Osman on 0554206005 or Mr. Fuseini Musah on 0535028262.

The affected residents say no contribution is too small and are hopeful that compassionate citizens and organizations will come to their aid.

They have also offered prayers for blessings upon all who extend support during this difficult period.
