Residents of Damongo and surrounding communities have received welcome news as Emylink Enterprise announces a significant reduction in the prices of Apsonic motorbikes and Motor King tricycles.
Speaking to Kasha News on Thursday, 10th July 2025, the Chief Executive Officer of Emylink Enterprise, Mr. Emyka Allo, revealed that the price of Apsonic motorbikes has been slashed by GHC 500, while Motor King tricycles and related models have seen a reduction of GHC 1,000.
Mr. Emyka explained that the price reduction is a direct result of the recent appreciation of the Ghanaian cedi against the US dollar, which has lowered import and operational costs. He added that the new prices take immediate effect.
“This is our way of giving back to our customers and easing the financial burden on commercial riders and transport users,” Mr. Emyka said.
“As the cedi gains strength, we believe it’s only right to extend the benefit to the people.”
The announcement has been warmly received by the public, particularly by commercial riders and traders who depend on these vehicles for daily operations.
