The West Gonja Municipal Football Association (MFA) has extended a message of sympathy and well wishes to the management, technical team, and players of Bii-Kunu Rising Stars following their involvement in a road accident.
The incident occurred after the team’s Division Three (3) League match against Canteen FC on Sunday, February 1, 2026. The sympathy message was issued on Monday, February 2, 2026.

The Executive Board of the West Gonja Municipal Football Association extends its heartfelt sympathy to the management, technical team, and players of Bii-Kunu Rising Stars following a road accident involving the team’s vehicle after their Division Three League match against Canteen FC on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
The unfortunate incident resulted in injuries to seven players, who are currently receiving medical attention for varying degrees of injuries.
The Association wishes all the injured players a swift and full recovery during this challenging period.
We also appeal to the general public, football lovers, and well-meaning individuals to rally behind Bii-Kunu Rising Stars with support and encouragement as the club navigates this difficult moment.
