Bole/Bamboi MP Donates 500 Bags of Fertiliser, GH¢12,600 to Support Farmers and Party Executives

The Member of Parliament for Bole/Bamboi and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Yussif Sulemana, has donated 500 bags of fertiliser to farmers in Larabanga and neighbouring communities to boost agricultural production during the 2026 farming season.

The donation, made on 26 July 2026, benefited farmers in Larabanga, Kenanto, Nabori and Murugu. Speaking at Larabanga, Hon. Sulemana thanked constituents for the confidence they reposed in him during the 2024 general elections, describing the visit as both a gesture of appreciation and a fulfilment of his commitment to supporting local farmers.

He reaffirmed his pledge to sponsor pilgrims to perform Hajj annually, indicating that he hopes to sponsor two people a man and a woman this year if circumstances permit.

The MP explained that the fertiliser distribution is aimed at improving crop yields and strengthening food production. Under the allocation, Nabori, Kenanto and Murugu will each receive 40 bags, while Larabanga's nine polling stations will receive 40 bags each, with the remaining 60 bags reserved for the community's elders to support additional farmers.

Hon. Sulemana also encouraged young people to take advantage of ongoing security service recruitment, assuring qualified applicants of his continued support. He disclosed that four youths from the area have already secured appointment letters.

In addition, he donated GH¢12,600 to be shared equally among polling station executives in Larabanga in recognition of their commitment and service.

Beneficiaries welcomed the intervention, describing it as timely and a significant boost to farming activities and food production in the area.
