Safo Emmanuel Sadari, the incumbent Deputy Savannah Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has formally declared his intention to contest the position of Substantive Savannah Regional Secretary, saying the next chapter of the party’s journey in the region must focus on greater unity, stronger organisation and an inclusive party that responds effectively to the needs of its grassroots.
My Dear Comrades, Distinguished Elders, Founding Fathers, Regional, Constituency and Branch Executives, Honourable Members of Parliament, MMDCEs, Party Activists, and the Great Rank and File of the NDC in the Savannah Region,
Four years ago, you entrusted me with the great honour and responsibility of serving as your Deputy Regional Secretary. It was an opportunity I embraced with humility, commitment and dedication in serving our Party, our members and our region.
Today, as I look back on the journey so far, my heart is filled with profound gratitude. I am deeply grateful for the confidence you reposed in me, the opportunity you gave me to serve, and the countless lessons, friendships, sacrifices and experiences that have shaped this journey.
But our work is far from over. Together, we have a greater task ahead of us — a task to strengthen our unity, deepen our commitment, rebuild trust where necessary, and work tirelessly to build a stronger, more organised and more inclusive NDC in the Savannah Region.
It is therefore with humility before Almighty God, confidence in our collective strength, and an unwavering commitment to the ideals and future of our great Party that I officially declare my intention to contest for the position of Substantive Savannah Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
I seek this position because I believe our Regional Secretariat can and must become the nerve centre of an efficient, united, transparent, accountable, innovative and responsive NDC — a Party that listens to its members, supports them, and responds effectively to the challenges confronting our grassroots.
If given the mandate to serve as your Substantive Regional Secretary, I pledge to lead with integrity, humility, courage, fairness, transparency and accountability.
The journey that began four years ago continues, but I believe the next chapter must be one of greater unity, where together we Create a Bold Future for the Savannah Region.
Thank you, and may Almighty God bless us all.
