The Savannah Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Imoro Seidu, popularly known as Man Blessing, has officially declared his intention to seek re-election as chairman of the party in the Savannah Region.
The declaration was made on Friday, September 18, at his residence in Sawla, where he formally announced his decision to continue leading the party at the regional level.
Speaking after the declaration, Alhaji Imoro Seidu said he had undertaken extensive consultations with party leaders at the regional and national levels, as well as with the President.
According to him, the consultations received the endorsement and blessings of the party’s leadership, giving him the confidence to seek another term in office.
He said he would file his nomination when the party officially opens the process, subject to the necessary procedures.
The regional chairman expressed optimism about his chances of retaining the position and said he remained committed to continuing what he described as his good works for the NDC in the Savannah Region.
He also pledged to sustain his efforts toward strengthening the party’s structures and advancing its interests across the region if given another mandate.
His declaration sets the stage for the upcoming internal contest for the position of NDC Savannah Regional Chairman, pending the official opening of nominations by the party.
