The president of Blue City FC, Mr. Ridwan Limuna Kasha, has reaffirmed his commitment to transforming the club into a well-structured and competitive side while using football to develop young talents and attract investment into the Savannah Region.
Blue City FC is a Division Two club based in Busunu in the West Gonja Municipal of the Savannah Region. The club is currently preparing for the upcoming Division Two League, with management working to strengthen the team’s technical, administrative and logistical structures ahead of the new season.
At a meeting with the club’s management and technical team at Busunu on Sunday, August 30, 2026, Mr. Limuna presented training and technical equipment, including 15 footballs, training bibs, goalkeeping gloves, shin guards, coaching board, first-aid items, kits, corner flags, training poles, an HP laptop and an iPhone.
He said the intervention was aimed at strengthening the technical team and improving the club’s preparations.
Mr. Limuna also announced plans to establish junior and ladies’ teams, intensify player recruitment and strengthen the club’s social media presence.
He described the donation as the beginning of a long-term journey towards building Blue City FC into a professionally structured football institution.
Mr. Lazarus Amati, on behalf of management and players, expressed appreciation and pledged their full cooperation towards
achieving the president’s vision.
