A chief has been killed by unknown assailants at disputed land around the Tuluwe paramountcy in the Central Gonja district of the Savannah Region.
The killing of the chief identified as Mujipewura of the Tulwe paramountcy of Gonja is believed to be as a result of a disputed land.
The sad development happened in the late hours of Thursday 30th March 2023.
The land in question is been claimed by Tuluwe and Kekpande Paramountcies.
Kasha news sources say the slained chief was keeping watch over the land for the Tulewe paramountcy when he was killed.
It is not confirmed who did the killing but the people of Tuluwe paramountcy suspect the people of Kekpande paramountcy are behind it.
