Breaking News: Accident on Doli Bridge, road blocked again

 

Kasha news has reliable information that an accident on Wednesday 4th October 2023 morning involving an articulated truck has occurred at the broken down Doli bridge near Bole in the Savannah region blocking the road again. 

The truck has blocked vehicular and human movement across the temporal connection constructed last week for buses and smaller cars.

Kasha news checks indicate that though the temporal connection was meant for buses and smaller vehicles, heavy vehicles such as cargo and articulated trucks have all been using it to the concern of many.

This comes days after the Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi, Yussif Sulemana, is fuming over the poor work done on the collapsed Doli bridge in the Savannah Region.

In his view, the reconstructed bridge is a death trap and must urgently be redone.

The bridge, which links the Upper West Region and the southern part of Ghana, was washed away by heavy rain on September 17, 2023.
