Secretary of the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Mr Abdulai Haruna Obey, has caused the Bole Magistrate court to place an interim injunction on the Bole District Football Association from continuing with the division three league in the district.
Mr Haruna Abdulai Obey, the plaintiff in the case and owner of Bole based Kutuge Feso FC wants a declaration that the season during which the Bole District Football Association is conducting the division three Football league is unrecognised by the Ghana Football Association and therefore is null and void.
He also wants an order directing the District Football Association not to declare any champion for the unrecognised division three football season currently being conducted and supervised by the District Football Association, General damages and cost including legal fees.
Upon listening to the counsel for the applicant, Lawyer Salisu Biawurbi, in an open court, and upon reading the affidavit in support of the motion ex-parte for interim injunction pursuant to order 13 rule 5 of the District Court Rules, 2009 C.l.59 filed on the 27th day of October, 2023, his worship, Mr Edward E. Of the Bole Migistrate Court, placed an interim injunction on the league from 27th October,2023, to Sunday 5th November 2023.
