Chief Dr. Zakaria Donates GHS 250,000 at NDC Savannah Region Fundraising

 

The Savannah Region chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) received a significant boost in its fundraising efforts, with a GHS 250,000 pledge from Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria. This contribution was announced at the party’s highly attended fundraising event in Tamale, where party members gathered in anticipation of securing a 7/7 win for the region in the upcoming 2024 General Elections.

Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria, a distinguished leader and Chair of the fundraising event, addressed the crowd, expressing gratitude for the trust placed in him. "It is with immense gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility that I accept the honour of serving as Chair for this important event," he stated. He emphasized the importance of the occasion, noting that it wasn’t just about raising funds, but building a foundation for a just and prosperous future for Ghana under the leadership of former President John Dramani Mahama.

The Chief's donation of GHS 250,000 was met with resounding applause from attendees, highlighting the pivotal role the Savannah Region holds in the party's electoral strategy. He passionately declared, "To ensure our Great Party wins the upcoming December 7th General Elections, we need funds to sustain campaigns in all seven constituencies in the Savannah Region. With a PhD in Public Policy Administration from Walden University, USA, and a role as Assistant Controller & Accountant General, Chief Dr. Zakaria's commitment to progress is evident both locally and internationally.
