The Paramount Chief of the Kpembi Traditional Area, Kpembiwura Banbange Ndefoso (v), has urged the people of Kpembi to vote overwhelmingly for John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, in the 2024 elections.
Kpembiwura made the call when John Dramani Mahama paid a courtesy call to his palace as part of his tour of the Savannah Region.
The Kpembiwura began by praying for the success of all sons and daughters of Gonjaland aspiring for greater heights.
He expressed hope for the former president, emphasizing that this is the right time for the people of Gonjaland to unite in support of their own.
A win for John Dramani Mahama is a victory for the entire Gonjaland. He added.
The Paramount Chief expressed gratitude to the former president for the support he gave him during his time at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
He recalled how John Dramani Mahama frequently visited him and continued to check on him even after his discharge, including a follow-up visit to his palace.
The Kpembiwura on his final words offered the former president his blessings and asked his immams to offer a special prayer for him to achieve success in what he is pursuing, and to bring honour to the entire Gonjaland.
