The donation, according to the Salaga South Legislator, Hon. Hajia Zuwera, follows a request from the school to her office appealing for furniture to support the academic activities of the school. The MP indicated that she responded swiftly to their request in order to make teaching and learning more comfortable for the students and the teachers.
Mr. Habib Iliasu, the Assistant Headmaster in charge of Academics who received the donation on behalf of the headmaster, expressed gratitude to the MP for her kind gesture and indicated that some of the students had to sit on the floor due to the challenge of inadequate furniture in the school. He further commended the MP for responding to their request and assured her that the furniture would be put to good use by the school.
Other dignitaries present at the donation include; Alhaji Nashiru, a staff and Presiding Member, Mr. Seth Dinseyee Anyinyi, Senior House Master, Madam Mavis, Senior House Mistress, other staff from the school, constituency executives, and some members of the constituency campaign team.
