The regional youth organiser of the NDC in Savannah Region, Alhaji Inusah Mahama, has told the youth in the region that the 2024 election is about them.
According to him, the decision they will make will determine their future, which is why they must take the election seriously and choose candidates that will ensure a better future for them.
Alhaji Inusah, who was speaking at a community engagement in the Salaga South constituency, urged the youth to seize the opportunity presented by the election to reset their destinies.
"This year's election is about we the youth, it's not about NPP and NDC it's about us, it's about our future, an opportunity to reset our destinies so let's take it serious."
Alhaji Inusah explained that John Mahama and the NDC's 24-hour economy policy is aimed at addressing the biggest challenge of the Ghanaian youth, which is jobs.
"John Mahama and the NDC is bringing the 24-hour economy for us. He knows our biggest challange as youth. It is jobs, which is why he is coming to solve that for us."
"The policy will require more police, more soldiers, more immigration officers, more fire officers, more drivers, more artisans, more carpenters and more factory workers and sales persons. Who will those jobs be for, we the youth. That is the brighter future we want."
He urged the youth to vote massively for John Mahama and the NDC parliamentary candidates to ensure they have a future of jobs.
