The Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Bole–Bamboi, has fulfilled his pledge to support Mole Nationals FC and Yagbon Stars SC ahead of the upcoming football season.
The Minister, known for his strong commitment to youth and sports development in the Savannah Region, has presented ₵12,000 to the management of Kasha FM to enable the two clubs to acquire quality football jerseys and balls in preparation for the new campaign.
This gesture follows a promise he made during the memorial football match organized by Kasha FM in honour of their late Chief Executive Officer, Sandapewura Muniru Limuna, whose contribution to sports and community development continues to inspire many.
According to the management of Kasha FM, the funds have been received and will be equally distributed to Mole Nationals FC and Yagbon Stars SC for the procurement of the sporting items.
The Deputy Minister’s act of generosity has been widely praised by football lovers and residents, who describe it as a demonstration of genuine support for grassroots football and community development in the Savannah Region.
