Hon. Ananpansah Bartholomew Abraham, the Assembly Member for Canteen Electoral Area, donated a wide range of teaching and learning materials to pupils and teachers of Frafra Recyclement Primary School in his constituency.
He was joined by colleagues who supported the presentation.
The donation included over 800 exercise books, pens, pencils, reading materials, novels, writing and reading slates, sharpeners, colour crayons, office clocks, footballs and among others.
The gesture forms part of Hon. Ananpansah Bartholomew Abraham’s continued commitment to education, having over the years supported BECE candidates and contributed to sports development in the community.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Ananpansah credited World Vision for their strong support in making the donation possible. He emphasized that the initiative is aimed at providing pupils with the necessary tools to study comfortably and grow into responsible future leaders.
He also revealed plans to establish a Junior High School between Frafra Line and No. 1 to serve residents of No. 4, No. 5, Agric Settlement, and surrounding communities.
Additionally, he disclosed that pump testing has been conducted in the community to support plans for extending water supply to the school, clinics, Kpari, and other areas.
The Assembly Member encouraged parents to enroll their children in school to attract further sponsorship and development support, underlining the importance of education for community growth.
The PTA Representative, Mr. Iddrisu Salia, expressed gratitude to Hon. Ananpansah for his continued support and pledged to promote education in the area. The School Representative, Mr. Ayizanga Abani Robert, also thanked the Assembly Member and urged parents to prioritize preparing their children for school.
A four-year-old pupil, Ishmeal, speaking on behalf of his classmates, expressed appreciation to Hon. Ananpansah Bartholomew Abraham and World Vision for the generous donation.
