Former Mole Nationals player and aspiring politician, Yahaya Amantana, has donated footballs and GH₵1,000 to Mole Nationals Football Club to support the team’s development and activities.
Speaking to Kashafmonline.com after the donation, Hon. Amantana said the club played a key role in shaping his football career and giving him the exposure to compete in places such as Wa and Bolgatanga, despite beginning his football journey in Bole.
He explained that his support for the team was inspired by his connection to the club as a former player and his desire to contribute to its growth.
Hon. Amantana stressed that football goes beyond entertainment, describing it as a career capable of creating opportunities and jobs for young people in the community.
He expressed confidence that with the needed support and sponsorship, Mole Nationals could produce talented players capable of reaching top clubs and even representing Ghana at the international level.
The former player also pledged to use his connections to help secure sponsorship opportunities for the club after learning about some of the challenges facing the team.
He encouraged the young players to remain focused and never give up on their dreams despite the difficulties they may encounter in their football careers.
Officials of Mole Nationals thanked him for the gesture, describing the donation as timely and motivating for the team.
